For more than 105 years, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has been on the forefront of providing “service to all mankind.”  Founded on a legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, we continue to respond to global concerns by empowering communities through our service initiatives and programs.  Under the leadership of our current International President, Carolyn House Stewart Esq., our program theme Global Leadership Through Timeless Service, is the vehicle through which we channel our service efforts.

Theta Lambda Omega Chapter of Pontiac, chartered in 1966, is committed to addressing issues related to educational advancement, social justice, human rights, health, poverty, economic security, environmental sustainability and to maintaining a thriving sisterhood.  We are part of the Great, Great Lakes Region of our sorority which is comprised 97 chapters located in Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania and Western New York..
